BULGARIA AND ITS TRADITIONS IN NATURAL FOOD PRODUCTION
Bulgaria has been known for its fruits and wine grape production for centuries. The unique soil and climate conditions in Bulgaria are a prerequisite for the production of food with the highest taste and nutritional qualities. The four climatic seasons and the rich soil in Bulgaria enable the production of biologically pure fruits and wine grapes with great taste and nutritional qualities, which has been the world-known mark of Bulgaria for decades.
OUR MISSION IS THE AGRICULTURE IN HARMONY WITH THE NATURE AND PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC FOOD
Our farm is located in one of the cleanest and most beautiful areas of Bulgaria along the Zlatna Panega river in the Luk-ovit region. From the very beginning of its foundation our farm applies aproved practices for organic production of pure fruits and wine grapes. Our mission is to keep the Nature clean and to produce clean food of the highest quality, taking the advantages of the unique natural features of the region.
OUR ORGANIC FRUIT PRODUCTION
On our farm we grow organic prunes, cherries and wine grapes.
- 55 hectares of prunes with an annual production of up to 550 tons
- 15 hectares of cherries with an annual production of up to 120 tons
- 30 hectares of wine vineyards with an annual production of up to 200 tons
The organic prunes are of the Stanley and Dente 707 varieties which are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The Stanley variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing The Dente 707 variety is extremely suitable for processing, with ripe fruits reaching 28-30° degrees BRIX.
The organic cherries are of the Benjaminler and Dolensepler varieties with a high potential for processing, with ripe fruit reaching 30° degrees BRIX.
Organic wine vineyards
Varieties for red wine production: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Marselan, Pinot I Noir and Petit Verdo. Varieties for white wine production: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat Petit Grain, Viognier.
